As a Registered Nurse with first hand clinical experience, I have been providing CPR, AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen classes in Minnesota for 30 years. I work with Twin Cities Hospitals, Medical Clinics, Dental Offices, Long Term Care Facilities, Surgery Centers, Daycare Centers, Churches, Country Clubs, Corporate Offices, Construction Companies and other Community Businesses. My goal is to empower you to respond with confidence in an emergency.

To those of you considering Heart Start, Ltd. for your CPR, BLS, AED, First Aid or Bloodborne Pathogen training, my healthcare background brings first hand clinical experience and expertise to my CPR courses. I have a passion for teaching and working with people. I also have a passion and love for learning myself, and I gratefully learn something new about healthcare, people and life in every class. My style is calm, relaxed, compassionate, patient, and hopefully a little fun, even though we are dealing with serious topics. I want participants in my class to understand how to respond in an emergency to give your patient or victim of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Injury or Medical Emergency the best chance of survival.  
 
While knowing the importance of the life-saving skills of CPR, AED use, and First Aid, don't forget the importance of mindful prevention of Cardiovascular Disease and other illnesses and injuries. Stay safe. Stay healthy and happy. Find a way to decrease the stress in your life or perhaps just change the way you react to the stress in your life. Truly live in every moment and let gratitude be your last thought when you go to sleep and your first thought when you awaken. Some days you may have to search for some small thing to be grateful for, maybe just one moment in a day, but, you will find it.
